Back in 1998 we began putting together a series of Scottish websites that, by 1999, had become the Scottish Web Directory. Back then, it was the ‘in thing’ to support one another online, exchanging links and offering joint promotions, shared marketing and even some fabulous online cash-prize competition. But times change, we move on and we develop other concepts in a bid to beat the mass explosion in spammers, scammers and the notorious phishing sites.
It’s been over 10 years since we broke up the original directory, gradually demolishing most traces of what had once been our headquarters, here in virtuality land. But now the time has come to pick up the remaining pieces, bring them back together and form a brand new directory.
Economic downturns have always resulted in belt-tightening exercises for small companies, but lucrative opportunities for those large enough or savvy enough to take advantage of such situations. I like to think of NYK Media as being a money-savvy survivor that excels in the face of adversity, fighting back in order to stand up in defence of those who appreciate community spirit, sharing and mutual support.
That’s why our advertising prices start from ZERO
